Original title: Swallow Dance

A single swallow swoops in from above while bare branches stretch across the page, their last russet leaves blown sideways into the wind. A column of Japanese kanji along the left edge evokes the words dance of the swallow. The sage ground and the windy diagonal of the leaves give the print a wonderfully kinetic feeling — you can almost hear the rustle. Beautiful in a study, a hallway, or beside a reading chair.
