Two clusters of deep cobalt-blue iris bloom against a soft cream-to-pale-blue ground in this Japanese-woodblock-style botanical, their long teal sword-leaves arching outward and a couple of small unopened buds waiting to follow. The richly saturated indigo flowers carry yellow flashes at their hearts while a small red signature stamp anchors the lower right. A confident decorative botanical with strong tea-room and gallery-wall appeal.
