A white-and-black crane stretches its wings across a deep red sun on a soft pale sky brushed with horizontal pink cloud bands, with a column of classical calligraphy along the upper left and a small red signature seal on the right. The print is a careful tribute to the Edo-period ukiyo-e bird-and-flower tradition — proudly graphic, beautifully restrained. Beautiful in a hallway, a sitting room or a study.
